文化为己心，学习中传承。
家，是每个人的心灵寄托处；而文化，是一个民族的根源。借新春之契机，赫瑞瓦特中文学会的学生举办了《歸根·回溫》新春晚会。它将以文化电影的形式呈现出家庭与文化传承之间的羁绊，从而让大众在欢庆新春之际，亦能激发出观众对家的思念以及对中华文化传承的使命感。
活动宗旨：
- 发扬传统中华文化。
- 强调家庭的重要性。
- 强调和谐的家庭对于文化传承的重要性。
- 让友族更了解中华文化和习俗，从而塑造更和谐的社会。
- 提升大学生纪律和组织能力。
- 提供一个让大学生学习软技能的平台。

为了呈现出中华文化的多样性，我们将首次把中华传统表演和文化电影做出结合。《让我留在你身边》将讲述一个机器人与一个现代家庭之间发生的故事，从而再次引发人们对于“珍惜眼前人”的深思。

大家好，我们是来自赫瑞瓦特中文学会的学生。我们秉持着“文化为己心，学习中传承”的理念发起此次的新春文娱晚会活动。除了增添新春气氛，我们也希望能尽我们的绵薄之力来推广中华文化，让更多人发现并了解中华之美。

Introduction of Event
With the theme of "En Route Back Home" for our extravaganza this season, we, students from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, inspire to see more young people to take action upon the realisation of the importance of family. The focus of our event revolves around a stage play conveying the message to remind individuals to spend more time with their loved ones. At the same time, we aspire to help connect people, be it a family or a long-lost friend, to come together through the extravaganza. Our targeted amount to raise for this event is MYR 5,000.

The highlight of our extravaganza is our stage play. It is a story which revolves around a robot and a family, with the aim of inspiring people to take action upon the realisation of the importance of spending time with their loved ones.
About Top Exco of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia CNY Extravaganza 2019
Hi, we are students from Chinese Cultural Society in Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. In conjuction with Chinese New Year, we decided to held CNY Extravaganza 2019 to celebrate Chinese New Year with public. Besides, we have passion to promote our Chinese culture and tradition to public. We hope that beauty of Chinese culture can be realised and understood by more and more people.

As we found that youths nowadays majority aren't aware of the culture which have been preserved since hundred years ago, we decided to organize "En Route Back Home" event to spread Chinese culture and celebrate Chinese New Year Festival. We hope to spread the words of remember our origin and be grateful of who we are.
